Cream is more appropriate for longevity and close-proximity contexts: a morning routine that stays active all day, situations where close contact is likely, or as a base layer under perfume to extend and enrich its effect.
Used together — cream first, perfume on top — the two formats complement each other: the cream provides the sustained base and the skin hydration that helps the perfume fix better and last longer.
How to Incorporate the Cream Into a Daily Routine
The optimal moment to apply is after the shower, on skin that is still slightly damp. Residual moisture helps distribute the cream more evenly and improves absorption. For hair, it can be applied to wet hair before drying, or to dry hair as a finishing product.
Heat zones — neck, wrists, décolleté — are the points where the cream releases compounds most effectively, because the temperature increases the volatility of the fragrance.
